Both teams were a little nervous going in to this match with a place in the final at stake.  Chesham were without three key players, but the 11 available were up for the job.   Chesham started brightly and piled the pressure on to Berkhamsted.  The visitors couldn't convert various corners but when Kristen Bucknall squeezed the ball accross to Annie Burns her shot squirmed under the keeper.   Chesham kept pressing and when a shot was blocked by a hand, Chesham had free-kick just out side the box, up stepped Suzie Crabbe who curled her shot low round the wall and into the corner.    Chesham's dominance dwindled,  Berkhamsted had some good posession and a deflected shot forced Kate Elliot into a fantastic save, the interval couldnt come soon enough as Berko piled on the pressure.

The second half saw the visitors shooting down the hill, which as they found out is no advantage.   Berkhamsted had the bit between their teeth, mid way through the half, Chesham started looking tired they stopped communicating and pressing, Berkhamsted crossed and the ball deflected into Elliots goal.   The visitors played on the break and both Kristen Bucknall and Emma Harvey both went close, still Berkhamsted pressed, Crabbe and Barton were dragged all over the place, but Sophie Evans was having an inspired performance at the back, she seemed to win every thing and find feet with every pass. Again Berkhamsted drove through the middle and slotted in the equaliser to take the goal into extra time.  

So for the second time in the competition Chesham played golden goal,  they had the slope advantage for the 1st half but couldnt capitilise, Chesham's forwards were to tired to chase, Laura Barton picked up the ball in midfield but her wide players had been helping out the defence, luckily Crabbe found a burst of energy and surged down the left Barton played a great ball through and her Midfield partner did not dissapoint as her 1st touch took her in goal and she blasted her shot past Berkhamsteds keeper much to the delight of team mates for a final tie with Ruislip at Stadium MK in May!
