Chesham strated todays game off on a high from the kick off. They were switched on and playing well together. Passes were bing made around the Crendon players nicely and shots were being taken but unfortunately no goals came from them. Towards the end of the 1st half we started getting a little tired and Crendon had a few minutes on the attack. Fortunately stand in Keeper Sam made two fantastic saves that stopped us being 2-0 down.

At half time, the girl's got their fluids on bored and caught their breath back after a hard first half. Then went back out for another tough half.

With the battle going on and chances not being taken by both teams it was continuing to be a very high tempo game. Bex (POM) and Emma worked hard at the back to keep the ball away from Sam with some great clearances and a few short runs being made from Bex. Georgia Kept hold of the ball in centre mid and had some great long range shots that tested the keeper. Sasha and Maria worked hard running up and down the wings taking on players and making some fantastic link up play with Charlie who stayed up top to try and snatch the goals.

with minutes left of the whistle going Georgia made a wide ball out to Maria who cut in to cross te ball and with some rebounds of shots Sasha picked up the ball and powered it into the back of the net. Making the final score 1-0 to Chesham.

The girl's worked very hard and deserved to get through to the next round.
